Strengths:
Small and silent
4 or 5 POE ports at 24v
SFP /eth5 for WAN requires SFP adapter
Eth 0 static 192.168.1.1
Eth1 DHCP
Eth2
Eth3
Eth4
Weaknesses:
NIGHTMARE
Settings keep changing to RANDOM IP address' not what is assigned and saved
Connect via ETH 0 or ETH 1
What IP address will it be this time ???
2-5 minute boot ups
Additional Comments:
After doing IT work for nearly 20 years, this is a NIGHTMARE to try and configure
Even with the firmware updated, same result.
I wanted this as a DUMB SWITCH that I could turn on/off the POE ports
I already have a network this SHOULD HAVE been able to slide onto as a pass-thru unit
While the option is shown, and supposedly is set as dumb switch, it didn't
Recommend you watch YouTube videos on the ERX SFP (specifically) for setup, before buying
Can it be used as a primary, or edge router for a different IP range sure, but not my case

Strengths:
EdgeOS, DNS caching, traffic analysis, price
Additional Comments:
I have not bypassed the Starlink router. I tested a dish reboot and a Starlink router reboot and there were no problems with resuming service. It was useful to use the traffic analysis function to determine the size of Netflix downloads and the average bit rate, 6 mbps for one test.
