Strengths:
- amazing power output!
- pretty quiet under full load
- very versatile for being modular
Weaknesses:
- draws 18 amps when at load
- no power switch on unit to flick on or off
Additional Comments:
BUYER BEWARE!!!!! If you buy this unit make sure the outlet you are plugging it into delivers at least a 20amp current!!!! So that means you need 12ga wiring in your walls (most are smaller 14awg) and 20amp circuit brakers. This Power supply draws a constant 18 amps. Under any load it absolutely loves to trip your normal 15amp powerbars and 15 amp brakers. Even had it melt an gfic electrical recepticals that was only good for 15amps so dont do this to your self!!! Definitely will be returning!!!! My house and most Residential dwellings wiring just can’t handle its power draw demand!!!! If you can have a separate circuit that can do 20amp one then your good to go!!!
