Great laptop, Not so great battery.

Strengths of the product

Great display, fast boot up, plenty of space, touch pad and keyboard feel great and no issues so far with operation.

Weaknesses of the product

The only weakness i have found so far is the battery life. Asus boasts an 8 hour battery life but with the display as low in brightness as it can go and the battery saver on I have only been able to get about 4.5 hours. Not a big deal as long as you have the charger with you.

Additional Comments

Great computer that runs excellent, could do with a better battery though.

Great specs, awful setup

Strengths of the product

- the specs are great for the prce - clear display with backlit keyboard

Weaknesses of the product

awful experience trying to get this to run games. Single channel ram performs poorly, and the thing came out of the box with old drivers and a very dated version of windows. had to wait through 5-6 hours of restarts... - integrated graphics still suck... no seriously (nvidia all the way) - poor battery life aswell.

Additional Comments

If you are looking for a laptop for anything but gaming, this is the one. buy it. But dont expect it to run anything in 1080p

Additional Comments

I purchased this laptop about 2 months ago to replace my older Asus Zenbook which was 5 years old. I've had great experience with Asus so far and I recommend them to everyone I know. So far, this laptop is perfect for university. It is lightweight, thin, fast, and has a great battery life. It barely adds any weight in my school bag which is great for long days at school. I am glad I got this laptop over a Mac because it performs better for a fraction of the price.
