Gives more mouse room, wireless capabilities are convenient, LEDs kill battery

Strengths of the product

The keypad-less design gives more room for the mouse which is great for competitive FPS games, wouldn't go back. Bluetooth keyboard connectivity adds versatility for things like google tv boxes, a laptop with a bad built-in keyboard, etc. LED brightness can be fine tuned with corsiar software (I prefer mine very dim). Confirmed 70+ hrs battery life if LEDs are off.

Weaknesses of the product

LEDs are battery hogs when wireless, don't use. LEDs go to "sleep" after time which is annoying if I'm wandering into a dark, black room and trying to see where the keyboard is as I sit down to play. USB port on keyboard is a little bit "cheap" feeling, making grinding noises as the cable plugged in. Researched li-ion battery pack in keyboard and looks like it can easily be swapped with easy to order parts, a screw driver, and a soldering iron. I know the blue accent under the keys is going to age & look dirty/ugly over time, wish it was plain like the rest of the keyboard. Keys aren't as easy to press as a cherry mx speed keyboard.

Additional Comments

If you want more mouse space on the desk going keypad-less can do that. The wireless functionality makes this a great couch gaming keyboard with the optional lapboard. I'd give it 5/5 if it had cherry mx speed keys.

Love it

Strengths of the product

Physically feels like a quality product. Strong performance, even at a distance. Looks great.

Weaknesses of the product

Price. No numeric keypad.

Additional Comments

Another quality product from Corsair. I thought I was nuts for spending $120 on a keyboard but this is a very high quality keyboard. When you work 10 ~ 15 hours a day, you want a keyboard that is pleasant to the hands and works flawlessly, and this is it. Only regret is there is no numeric keypad, so I have to look for one separately.
