Unacceptable noise when fan restarts.

Strengths of the product

Weaknesses of the product

Large crunching noise every 5-10 minutes when the fan turns back on (goes from 0db mode to fan start every 5-10 minutes to keep itself cool). It kind of defeats the purpose of having a silent PSU.

Additional Comments

I don't believe it is broken though I won't try a second one, it just makes a loud crunchy noise when the fan turns back on, it kicks in a little too violently.

Not something I'd buy again, for first time builders I would somewhat avoid.

Strengths of the product

Great Build Quality - I used my camera flashlight to see the insides and it looked pretty great, high quality internals, most of what you are paying for seemed to be put into what is actually inside. The fan looked good aswell Very quiet - Even under load I cannot hear the fan of this PSU,

Weaknesses of the product

First problem is the 24pin connector, this is the HARDEST to install onto your motherboard, it takes so much force to push it in, not to mention to pull it out is even more of a pain, it literally felt like my motherboard was about to break. Second problem is the quality of the cables, I can guarantee you the cables are cheaper then the toy's you would get at your local dollar store. Third problem is the instructions, it dosen't have a dedicated english section, it has a mix of ther languages

Additional Comments

So I bought this PSU for my first PC build, I do know CoolerMaster makes some pretty good products also this PSU was semi-modular and was 80+ Bronze. However I had some problems and I will state them on the Strengnths and Weaknesses. Overall I think CM did a pretty good job, design wise, packaging of cables and the PSU itself so it does not get damaged during shipping.
