Blue Diamond's 75Ft (30m) CL3 Rated HDMI Cable
CL3 Plenum Rated Cable is designed for In Wall Use
CL3 Plenum rated means this cable is coated with a special material that releases less toxic gas if the cable ever catches fire. This lower toxicity makes it a much better alternative to standard HDMI cables in the event of a fire or overheating wires.
This added safety is key because it provides the protection necessary to put HDMI cables inside walls, while still complying with the National Electric Code. CL3 wires can handle 300 volts and are intended for use in commercial settings. They are higher rated, and can replace CL2 (150 volts) rated cables in home installations.
Ethernet Over HDMI Supported
This BlueDiamond HDMI Cable also supports the Ethernet Over HDMI standard for 1 cable in-wall solutions that require combined audio, video and ethernet over HDMI connections.
One Way Unidirectional Cable
This Boosted CL3 Plenum HDMI Cable is designed to work one way. The HDMI cable ends are marked for Source (input) and Screen (output) and only work one way. If the cable is installed backwards, there will be no signal.
The Manufacturer suggests testing the cable direction before installing into walls to verify correct use.
