Strengths of the product

Quiet Handles aggressive overclock with ease Looks great Great support from Corsair

Weaknesses of the product

Price

Additional Comments

The previous reviewer may have a poorly seated heat sink or a poorly applied thermal paste. My H115i Pro RGB with stock thermal paste kept my i7-8700K overclocked to 5.0Ghz at or below 90° C after hours of strenuous stress testing. After delidding, I reapplied the cooler with Kryonaut and with the same overclock I ran at or below 75° C under identical stress test conditions. With a 5.2Ghz overclock and identical stress test conditions I'm again at or below 90° C. At 5.2Ghz with a moderate fan curve and AAA gaming I rarely hit 55° C and it's so quiet. Yes this beats many Air coolers especially the Evo 212. It probably does a similar job to the best Air coolers but would likely slightly lose on price: performance ratio. With that in mind, for me, the extra $$ is with it for the cleaner looking build. Another benefit over an air cooler is the ability to choose your preferred heat dissipation configuration (case dependent). If keeping your CPU cooler is most important, have the cooler radiator pull cool air from outside the case and ehaust warmed air into the case (raising overall case temperature of course). If keeping your case and other components cool is most important, orient your radiator to pull air from inside your case and exhaust warmed air outside the case (reducing effective CPU cooling ability).

Noisier and less cooling than an air flow solution

Strengths of the product

It's water cooled?

Weaknesses of the product

Software is horrible. Extremely noisy compared to air cooling. Runs hotter than air cooling.

Additional Comments

Don't bother with an all-in-one water cooler, stick with air cooling like a CoolerMaster 212 or something similar. You'll save money, have a quieter computer, run cooler, and not have to run the corsair bloatware required to control this thing.

Strengths of the product

This AIO Cooler lower my temps 10 ~ 15° from the cooler master hyper 212 led. My 8600k 5Ghz @ 1.29v is staying below 55 degrees under 100% load. Super easy to set up. Sound isn't bad at all.

Weaknesses of the product

None so far

Additional Comments

I was thinking about delidding this CPU. But with these temps I'm not going to bother.
