Better performance to dollar ratio than 1070

Strengths:
Not oversized like MSI cards. Only requires a single 8 pin power connection. Slightly better performance to price ratio than 1070 will make this card more future friendly than the 1070. Great card to pair with 1440p ultrawide gaming monitor like the x34. Awesome card for AAA titles. Can play any VR title at full framerate.
Weaknesses:
Needed to reboot a few times to get the system to recognize the new card. 5 degrees hotter than a 1070.
Summary:
Awesome choice for 1440p gaming at high refresh rates or on an ultrawide. Can handle any VR title thrown at it. Yes, it runs Crysis...

11/10 Would do it again...

Strengths:
Faster than what i was expecting. Using the software from Gigabyte, was able to overclock. In squad at 2,560 x 1,080, FPS is 80 ~ 100 with epic settings, using an older CPU (i3770k with 16gb ram). I was expecting only around 60fps. PUBG should be similar in performance, as it uses the same Unreal 4 engine.
Weaknesses:
None so far...
Summary:
Mmmm... Black Friday Sale made this worth it. Having the same results as a stock clocked GTX 1080, I think this is a reasonably good value.
