Unbeatable value

Strengths of the product

FreeSync range is 48-144Hz and supports LFC. Incredibly bright.

Weaknesses of the product

No height, swivel adjustment. Stand is relatively and unnecessarily deep. Lacks VESA. 1080p

Additional Comments

Purchased this on Black Friday, at this price unbeatable value. I adjusted to using a curved screen within a few minutes and now I no longer notice the curvature, which i suppose is the idea. While sitting at a normal viewing distance (28" forehead to screen) the resolution is fine. I can notice some screen door effect if I lean forward, i.e. while eating on my desk. The screen is incredibly bright, to the point where I would say the factory setting is too bright. Better than too dim however because it's easy to adjust the brightness down. I do not have any backlight bleed.

Fantastic gaming monitor

Strengths of the product

Slight curve - I thought this was a gimmick at first, but it does make a subtle-if-noticeable immersion improvement in games & movies. 144Hz + Freesync - coming from a 'meh' Samsung 23.6" 60 Hz IPS panel to this...as Owen Wilson would say, "Wow!". Color reproduction is great. I have no complaints. 1ms response time!!! Good brightness. Included 3ft DP cable :)

Weaknesses of the product

No swivel, No raise/lower. Only slight tilt ability. Some backlight bleed around edges & corners, but not overly noticeable unless screen completely black - (This is a limitation of the technology rather than the manufacturer, however.) Not sure if I can quite justify a $400 tag on this monitor. $350 seems more reasonable considering the features and size. I picked mine up on sale for... much less than that.

Additional Comments

If you are using a standard non-gaming panel now, and you don't have the $$ for a 2K Freesync or Gsync high refresh rate panel, you owe it to yourself to get this. The difference was seriously night and day for me. It felt like I had a new rig altogether; that's how noticeable the improvement is.

Good curved monitor for the price.

Strengths of the product

Colour is pretty decent, lots of options in the menus. Build seems pretty solid. It has freesync and 144hz refresh rate with response time as low as 1ms. It looks very nice and sleek.

Weaknesses of the product

It has no height adjustment.. has some black light bleed across the top from the left to right corners.. menu isnt the greatest but it works.. Lots of reviews from other sites with ppl having problems with their monitors.

Additional Comments

GET THE IPR WARRANTY!! I got my on sale.. It is a solid monitor but...this is my 3rd monitor in 3 month.. my first one had dead pixels and horrible black light bleed...2nd monitor got a dead pixel line across the bottom.. ive had no problem with the 3rd so far. (Fingers crossed). Dont know if the 2 monitors were from a bad batch.. But besides that.. This one is perfect and for the price compared to all the other curved monitors that offer the same options. Your getting a great deal..

Great Monitor

Strengths of the product

Great Picture Quality and Colour, a more affordable option if your not after massive resolutions, The stand is a nice minimal design so it frees up desk that was taken up by the large oval shaped base of my previous monitors. 144hz

Weaknesses of the product

weird on the eyes to begin with, you will notice the curve slightly but you get used to it. computer now is rearranging icons whenever I fire up. 2 seconds to fix but just wish it didn't do that. shows up as an audio device even though it doesn't play sound and its hooked up via display port. brightness a little high for morning viewing even with the windows Nightlight option enabled.

Additional Comments

Its a good unit for the price, I got mine on sale so I'm happy. Its a vast improvement over my almost 8 year old 21" Samsung LCD. Maybe want to tone down the brightness but other than that highly recommend if on sale.

Looks great, works great, and budget friendly.

Strengths of the product

VA panel colors are vibrant and 3,000:1 native contrast ratio yields super rich blacks; has the connectivity options to suit any graphics card setup; curvature is subtle, yet looks and feels great; 144Hz response rate is out-of-this-world buttery smooth; anti-glare screen is the best I've experienced and image remains quite bright and visible even when sun is shining in your face; build quality is solid, attractive, and doesn't feel cheap; comes with Displayport cable.

Weaknesses of the product

No audio pass-through port (even though Win10 recognizes it as an audio device); can only adjust tilt angle, no vertical adjustment available; viewing angles are nowhere near as good as IPS, so ideally you want to be sitting as close to the sweet spot as possible and about 24" back; OSD menu has basic settings only and controls are frustrating for today's standards; no dedicated button for input switching.

Additional Comments

Designed to be a budget-friendly gaming monitor that gives you the performance you need while only sacrificing some of the "wants" of the higher tiers. With a bit of color-adjustment (using MSI's Dragon Gaming Center), and setting the monitor up in a spot that ensures good viewing angles, it's a fantastic 144Hz lag-free monitor for performance gaming. If you can snag one of these on the cheap, you are in for a great experience. It would be nice if it supported the more popular G-Sync, though.
