This product has a critical known defect that Logitech refuses to address. The switch on the left mouse button will almost certainly fail within 2 to 3 years. Logitech knows that the design of the switch is flawed and refuses to fix it.

After buying two of these in the last few years I am done. I will not give Logitech another penny! If you do a cursory search online you will see many reports about the switches on this device being hot garbage.

Writing this review after spending some time with it. I don't game so I won't be able to comment on it's performance. But for general / office use it really helps with my RSI problems. It's comfortable to use, weighted enough so that it doesn't move when in use. The rubber sole of the bottom metal plate really helps to grip the table top especially on glass surfaces. I like the rubberized coating which gives you a solid grip. The battery really lasts a long time for my use case.

Works in Linux without any problems such as Mint v21.X via Bluetooth. It's a solid trackball.
