Google Wi-Fi Mesh Router
Home Life, UninterruptedEnjoy Wi-Fi throughout your home, on your devices. Google Wi-Fi is a home Wi-Fi solution that works with your modem and Internet Provider, so you can stream, download and share without missing a beat.
Engineered For You, Made By Google
It's everything you love about Google: Smarts, Security and Simplicity, brought to your home Wi-Fi. Google rethought everything about routers to create an experience that's flexible and handles your devices and online activities.
- Keeps your network fast, no fiddling required
- Simple from set-up to control and beyond
- Security that’s always a step ahead
Google Wi-Fi Takes Your Wireless Smart Devices Further
Google Wi-Fi is different. It replaces your single router with multiple “points,” giving you an entirely new home Wi-Fi experience.
Coverage Throughout Your Home
Because Wi-Fi points connect seamlessly to each other, you can add as many as you need (wherever you want: Garages, Patios, Attics; you name it) without affecting your Wi-Fi speed.
- Wi-Fi Where You Need It
Each Wi-Fi point acts as a router, producing a high-fidelity signal for optimal device connection
- One network for all your devices
Google Wi-Fi uses "mesh" technology to create a single Wi-Fi network, so you always stay seamlessly connected as you move around
Automaticaly Connects You to the Fastest Wi-Fi Point
With multiple Google Wi-Fi points, Network Assist invisibly puts your device on the best point so you can take your video calls from the living room to the kitchen without losing signal.
Places You on the Least Congested Channel
Wi-Fi travels on shared channels, which can get crowded. Network Assist ensures Wi-Fi points are using the clearest channels to connect to one another, and to your devices.
Uses the Fastest Band for Your Wireless Smart Devices
There are two Wi-Fi bands: 2.4GHz (slower, but longer range) and 5 GHz (faster, but shorter range). Google Wi-Fi automatically connects your device to the band that will be fastest based on your location.
How Many Google Wi-Fi Mesh Points Do You Need?
Google Wi-Fi has you covered, no matter what the shape or size of your home.
- 1 Wi-Fi Mesh Point:
Smaller Homes or Apartments up to 1402 meters (up to 1,5002 feet)
- 2 Wi-Fi Mesh Points:
Medium Sized Homes from 140 ~ 2802 meters (1,500 ~ 3,0002 feet)
- 3 Wi-Fi Mesh Points:
Larger Homes over 2802 meters (over 3,0002 feet)
The Google Wi-Fi App
The Google Wi-Fi companion app lets you see what's connected, run a speedtest, quickly troubleshoot, set up a guest network, and more.
- Know Your Network
See which devices are connected and how much bandwidth each is using to get a better understanding of where your Wi-Fi is going
- Give Your Kids A Break
Google Wi-Fi now features Scheduled Pause, which allows you to do just that; schedule a regular Wi-Fi pause on your kid's devices, at bedtime and dinnertime. You can still pause Wi-Fi in the moment, whenever needed, too
- Clear Your Traffic
Prioritize a device for the fastest speeds when it matters most, like your Chromecast when marathoning your favourite show
- Get Your Friends Connected
Quickly find and share your password from the app or create a separate network for guests
- Connect Your Smart Home
Turn up the lights by connecting your Philips Hue bulbs to your Wi-Fi system; if you have house guests, they can also control your Hue lights from on.here
Initial network setup requires a Smart Device running on Android 4.0+ or iOS 8+.
