Not worth the money

Strengths of the product

Weaknesses of the product

By far the worst monitor I have had in along time. If you do any graphic design you will be very disappointed. It is not a true color display as described. No HDR. The panel uses dynamic contrast to make everything look super sharp...but it will burn your eyeballs out with how bright the panel is. The picture is distorted at any angle plus has a washed out look.

Additional Comments

Display port is a joke as it does not communicate with the computer properly. Every time the display goes to sleep it resets the windows display settings. Not to mention that my computer no longer goes into sleep mode because of this issue. The display turns on and off randomly. The Benq BL2700 is a much better display if you are looking at a design computer panel. I have been doing GD for 15 years and I have never has a display so overrated and under performing.

Looks nice, but issues with DisplayPort

Strengths of the product

Very good picture. Picture in a picture is a plus.

Weaknesses of the product

We cannot get this to show video when connected to the DisplayPort. We are connecting to a Gigabyte 1080 GTX video card using the displayport cable that came with the monitor. HDMI works, but only gives us 30Hz refresh rate. If I plug in both the DisplayPort AND the HDMI cable I can get the DisplayPort to work at 60Hz. No idea if this is a monitor issue or a video card issue. Would be nice to have speakers built in.

Additional Comments

Definitely a nice monitor.

HDR? Not so much

Strengths of the product

Great colors like all QLEDs from Samsung.

Weaknesses of the product

No HDR, therefore overpriced.

Additional Comments

Would be 5 Star if had HDR like salesperson said it did and was definitely misled by ME write-up which states supports HDR. I guess that means that an HDR source would not break unit, not that it has HDR. I should have reviewed before buying.
