Amazingly fast and huge coverage

Strengths:

1) wireless coverage is really big 2) rarely needs to be reset due to the 1GB Ram 3) Lots of pre game port setting (literally just pick a game and then a device and baam port forwarding done)

Weaknesses:

1) huge and hard to find a decent spot

Additional Comments:

Very good router, especially if you have fibre internet which will definitely give you the full speed through wifi

Works great

Strengths:

Have had it for 7 months now, havent had a single issue, set up was super easy and all bands are running strong. have never had to reboot and have about 20 or so devices hooked up to it over all.

Weaknesses:

only 8 ethernet ports hahaha, i have lan partys and sometimes run out of ports.

Additional Comments:

Great Product

Strengths:

- Extremely stable (I connect 50+ devices to this router) - Decent coverage for 5GHz

Weaknesses:

- Requires a restart every 3-4 weeks

Additional Comments:

Product is great, I run a ton of devices to this router, including wireless extenders, computers, direct Ethernet devices and more. It handles it without an issue. Sometimes it hiccups, but overall the quality is great.

Latest Firmware breaks Openvpn

Strengths:

Hardware Spec Coverage Antennas Firewall Port blocking

Weaknesses:

Latest VPN breaks Openvpn. This is caused by the new enhancements called fusion where it allows you to do multiple VPN and internet. The issue is it breaks it. When you update to the latest firmware it defaults it to Internet. You can add OpenVPN and it looks like it’s going to work but it doesn’t. You get no internet. When you switch it to default Internet you fail DNS leak test because your no longer on VPN. Guys it’s bad. The firmware before this fusion VPN enhancement work so much better.

Additional Comments:

Great VPN router for stock firmware when using it for Openvpn. Overall it work first day, next morning it somehow flashed itself to latest firmware and made a mess of my day.

A disaster

Strengths:

Might have some if it was working decently

Weaknesses:

This product has to be some kind of a joke. Bad coverage and terrible 2.4G compatibility

Additional Comments:

I bought it b/c I wanted to replace my Nighthawk x6 3200 which is very good for coverage but tends to reboot once or twice a day and/or have large "black out" periods of a few seconds - very annoying. I have more than 40 devices at home, combination of 2.4G and 5G ... well, at least 5 of my g devices did not connect *at all* with the Asus (even at a couple of meter distance) and a few other had random connection (much further away from the router) - it was at the same spot as the X6
