Strengths:
Compact
Better signal than I expected.
Good performance for browsing and watching video.
Both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz connected well
Weaknesses:
Throughput seems to stutter slightly when using it for gaming.
Don't recommend it for gaming.
Additional Comments:
The wifi in my laptop sometimes stops working and I needed a back-up connection for school until I can get my laptop serviced. Works surprisingly well for being so tiny, even in my basement (router is on the floor above, and 2 rooms over). Just seemed to have this weird stutter when trying to use it for gaming.
All in all very impressive for how small it is. Just don't buy this if you want to use it for gaming.

Strengths:
good for casual web browsing, or school
Weaknesses:
Not great for gaming
You need to be pretty close to the router for it to work good, if your router is upstairs and you're in the basement, you'll 1000% want to move your laptop or PC, unless you want to see what it was like to have dial-up.
Additional Comments:
if you can get in on sale, you probably won't be disappointed. It's better than not being able to use the internet

Strengths:
It works great when you are on the same floor as the WiFi router.
Weaknesses:
1. Weak range if you are far away.
2. Download speeds no faster than Wireless N that's built into my 10 year old laptop
3. It gets hot for some reason.
Additional Comments:
Don't expect a miracle out of this device.

Strengths:
I purchased this with hopes it would boost my laptop that's around 9 years old. Wasn't disappointed! My laptop has a network card with 802.11b at 50mpbs near the router and up to 11mbps away from the router.
The network card was very easy to install and, after testing, fires out a 802.11ac signal at 240mbps far away from the router. Going to test to see what it is near the router.
Weaknesses:
Doesn't automatically connect to WiFi, have to enable my connection every time I turn on the laptop.
Additional Comments:
Very neat little adapter. Recommend it for older laptops.

Strengths:
Small. Does not need any drivers installed under Windows.
Weaknesses:
Expensive. Work poorly.
Additional Comments:
I was in the store looking for a good quality USB wifi adapter. I did not need the smallest one, but I bought this one even though the assistant there told me I should just get a cheaper one. I wanted a good quality one, thinking this one must be better if it costs more. But it never really worked very well, giving very poor throughput and connectivity would sometimes go down. I have bought some Wireless-N 300 Mbps USB wifi adapters on ebay for like $4, and hey, they work great! They are somewhat bigger than this one, but work, and really cheap.
So I would say, only buy this one if you absolutely must have THE smallest one possible (maybe for a laptop you carry around, but replacing the wifi card in a laptop is cheap and easy). If not, then you are paying extra for nothing.

Strengths:
Bought 10 of these for a small office environment in a concrete building where the office space was spread over three rooms. I was worried that because of the building, that the signal wouldn't be very strong. Granted, I have enterprise-grade WiFi in the building, but these adapters were fantastic in every machine. Easy to install, no muss, no fuss.
Weaknesses:
None
Additional Comments:
Would recommend to anyone if they needed a small WiFi adapter without an external antenna.
