Not worth the money

Strengths of the product

- Large surface area. - Interesting geometric design. - Decent mouse tracking.

Weaknesses of the product

- Will NOT stay in place on standard melamine desk surface! - Very expensive for what you get IMO. - The edge material frayed very early into its life.

Additional Comments

While the tracking on this mousepad is more than acceptable, the fact that I'm constantly adjusting this mousepad absolutely bothers the crap out of me. This mousepad is quite large, so large that about half my keyboard can rest on it (Ducky Shine 4 - not the lightest of keyboards), which at least helps pin it down a little. I thought maybe it's so slippery because it's so new or maybe I just need to clean my desk surface thoroughly. Nope, after about 6 months of use, it's as slippery as ever. I absolutely cannot imagine this mousepad off on its own without the weight of my keyboard holding it down. I've had a couple other mousepads - the Razer Goliathus and the Roccat Taito to name a couple - and none of them have suffered this same slippery issue on the same desk surface. Unfortunately I didn't make up my mind in a timely manner, so I'm stuck with this until my desk mat from MassDrop arrives. Learn from my mistake folks, spend your $40 on literally anything other than this.
