Note: Many Ubiquiti® devices are powered using Passive PoE. This reduces hardware cost by not requiring a full 802.3af/at implementation.
Ubiquiti® PoE Adapters bridge the power gap by providing power to remote devices quickly and inexpensively.
More and more Office and Home Networks are integrating devices like Security Cameras and Wireless Access Points remotely; often placed in the best position possible, where PoE (Power over Ethernet) Power Solutions are ideal.
In the past, it has been difficult to provide remote PoE power over existing networking infrastructure without replacing non-PoE Hardware with expensive PoE-enabled Routers or Switches.

This PoE Device is not 802.3af/at compliant; by Design
Ubiquiti® PoE Injectors are designed to NOT be 802.3af/at compliant and should only be used with compatible Ubiquiti Hardware. The correct injector voltage and wattage must be selected for your Ubiquiti® device.
Using an injector with too high of voltage or to low of wattage will damage your device. Verify voltage and wattage requirements for your Ubiquiti device, then select a matching Passive PoE injector.
