Great adapter

Strengths:

It works!

Weaknesses:

Expensive

Additional Comments:

Used it to connect an old IBM LaserPrinter E to a computer running Windows XP. Worked flawlessly.

USB-Parallel printer cable on Ubuntu 10.04

Strengths:

Works great.
I connected my HP LaserJet 6P with cable then went into System=>Printing=>Add to configure it.
At first I thought I was going to have problems and Googled for a solution but while I was reading another account I noticed that my printer had already been found (it took a few minutes, that's all) it then found a driver, I printed a test page .... it just worked.

Weaknesses:

None.

Additional Comments:

USB-Parallel printer cable works with HP LaserJet 6P on Ubuntu 10.04

Check Printer Model

Strengths:

Works super easy... just plug it in and away you go.

Weaknesses:

Doesn't work with all printers. Have 2 at office. Works with 2 different HP printers, but not with Canon MFC

Additional Comments:

Check your printer against the list on the packaging before you buy.

Strengths:

Works Great with vista, no problems. Comes with driver CD. Has list of compatible printers on back.

Weaknesses:

Price is very high

usb to parallel

Weaknesses:

Does not seem to work with XP. XP automatically installs drivers but they don't work and I couldn't seem to install drivers from the CD. I had a bjc4100 printer which is listed as compatible in this products list on the package.
