Falling Apart

Strengths:

Chair was super comfy for about a year of moderate use.

Weaknesses:

Chair is literally falling apart after 2 years. The tilt lock level literally sheared off, removing the ability to control tilt. That was about 15 months into owning it, despite not using the tilt functionality at all (i.e. locked at same angle for about 11 months). Now, the chair has come off the base and is basically not usable unless you wanna balance as you sit.

Additional Comments:

I do not recommend this chair. I'm checking with Clutch to see if they will back their product up, but this level of failure is to be expected out of a $130 chair, not a $450 chair.

Don't waste your money

Strengths:

Well made. Good materials used. Strong.

Weaknesses:

Really restrictive in the hip area. Short seat. Lumbar support way too big to be practical. Crazy uncomfortable!

Additional Comments:

I bought this chair sight-unseen and regret it! One of the most uncomfortable chairs I've ever owned. Expected WAY more for the cost. If you're only in it for a bit like the similar chair I tried out in the store, it's not bad, the longer you're in it the worse it gets. I'm an avg. 5ft 7in and after 15-20 minutes in the chair my hips and glutes get crazy sore from how the seat is shaped. ME's policy on assembled chairs means I'm stuck with a $400 chair I can't use :(

Great

Strengths:

I'm a 6'3" 240lb guy and I find this chair very comfortable.

Weaknesses:

The instruction manual for assembling the chair has several errors. Like putting together a desk from Ikea. My Lumbar cushion was missing so the friendly staff at MemEx had to give me one from another box. Might be worth checking for all the parts in your box before leaving the store if you have a long drive ahead of you.
