Spend A Few Bucks More

Strengths of the product

It's cheap? Fast when it works.

Weaknesses of the product

Poorly made Flimsy If cable goes, whole thing is useless.

Additional Comments

Very cheaply built. The connection to the SSD is flimsy. The USB Type-C cable out is very weak and comically short. Bent and broke instantly, the first time I used it. Took it back and bought a case that was much better, and can use multiple / replaceable cables. This thing ejected constantly, not worth saving 5 to 10 bucks over.

Works fine

Strengths of the product

Inexpensive and light to carry. Throughput speed seems great.

Weaknesses of the product

Moulded hinges may not be the best if constantly changing drives.

Additional Comments

Case worked fine on my laptop. Just plugged it into USB port and immediately commenced a backup. It is fine as long as you won’t be changing drives in the case.

Weaknesses of the product

requires 896ma power and comp does not recognize it for some reason. I tried with another hard drive and same problem

Additional Comments

USB 3.1 gen 2 Type c does not work, the comp keeps telling me to eject properly but won't read due to lack of power. I returned it and got the USB 3.0 gen 1 and all is well
