Strengths:
This is really the lowest "high" performance RAM recommended for Ryzen. However the timings aren't great but just average at this speed. The build quality is nice, very nice heatsinks in black. The RGB works well with ASUS Aura without any effort or additional software.
Weaknesses:
I can't really say I've had any. My issues with getting the rated XMP profile to POST on my motherboard has more to do with the motherboard than the RAM. Usually any speed beyond the JEDEC standards requires more than 1.2V (the default RAM voltage) to run. While my motherboard supports running a higher DRAM voltage, it lacks the setting DRAM Vboot Voltage in the BIOS. This setting allows the motherboard to supply the specified voltage to the RAM while POSTing. I can't be entirely sure, but I think this settings is unique to an AMD platform, I don't thing Intel uses a separate boot voltage.
Additional Comments:
If you are looking for middle of the road higher speed RAM, and like RGB, you can't go wrong with this kit. GSkill is a respected name and I've had good luck with their RAM. Joe from Edmonton says the dies on his kit are Hynix, but Thaiphoon Burner says mine are Samsung B dies (part number K4A8G085WB-BCPB). It's not uncommon for DIMM manufacturers to switch dies due to availability or lack there of in the middle of a kit series. That's why it's always suggested to try and purchase all the RAM you'll need in your system as there is no guarantee that one kit purchased today will be identical to a kit purchased a month from now, even with the same manufacturer part number.

Strengths:
6, thats right 6 different programmable lights in each stick that can be used in limitless lighting effects through asus aura
runs at speed with xmp settings
overclockable with the right board. Ran mine at 3240 MHZ for first few weeks. Now at 3333 Mhz but required and overclocked bus speed. Understandable since bus will tend to bottleneck at speeds above 3200. blistering fast so bus needs to clock up to control data transfer. Awsome lol
they run cool
Weaknesses:
price, far from cheap but only ram that you can get with such vast array of color options
Additional Comments:
Really solid so far but if you want overclocking be prepared to invest on a board that can handle a good system bus overclock. I have the maximus ix formula that came with waterblocks on the northbridge and it turned out I needed them to clock this ram up. However that is still stock voltage and cool for me so Im impressed
