NTG-2 Directional Condenser Multi-powered Shotgun Microphone
The NTG2 is a lightweight condenser shotgun microphone, designed for professional applications in film, video, television and broadcast. Its full frequency response, low noise and audio transparency makes it ideal in a range of applications including filmmaking, voice-over and streaming. It can operate either from P48 phantom power or via a removable AA battery for maximum flexibility in the studio or in the field. It also features a switchable high-pass filter for added flexibility.

Features
Battery or Phantom Powered
The NTG2 operates either from a AA (1.5V) battery or P48 phantom power which can be supplied by professional cameras, audio recorders and power supplies. The battery power option makes the NTG2 ideal for scenarios where the camera does not supply phantom power such as DSLR video.
Windscreen Minimizes Wind Noise
The WSVM windshield is supplied to minimize light wind noise and explosives during recording. The optional 'DeadCat' furry is recommended for outdoor applications. The NTG2 has a foam windscreen to reduce unwanted wind noise from breezes, fans, heaters, and air conditioners. For maximum reduction of handling noise and wind noise in indoor or outdoor environments, consider the Rode Blimp furry windshield and shockmount suspension system (available separately).
