Expensive but worth it

Strengths of the product

Speed switches are a typist's dream RGB effects are beautiful. Use with RGB AIO or WC loop, especially with open case PC build, for a beautiful system.

Weaknesses of the product

Takes a bit of time to get used to using this keyboard without accidentally hitting the special keys on the left. Can get potentially 10 keyboards for the price of 1 of these. Going through the packaging is like playing Tetris.

Additional Comments

Costs an arm and leg, but an absolute delight of a keyboard to use and look at. Love annoying everybody else in the office with how fast I can type on this.

Strengths of the product

The beautiful I.D with the brushed aluminium and RGB LED's, having the key switches raised up makes cleaning easier then if the Key switches were recessed. Corsair's CUE software is some of the most powerful customization software on the market The dual/swapable surface wrist rest is a nice touch, the brown switches offer the best of both Reds (light touch) and Blues (Tactile feedback) but it's quieter then blues. The USB Passthough is handy for plugging in your Mouse or USB headset.

Weaknesses of the product

Requires a USB 3.0 port due to the high power draw (will work with USB 2 ports if you don't have CUE running but its still drawing more current then the USB 2 spec) CUE software has a steep learning curve if you want to use the advanced mode for lighting. Price but you knew it was pricey

Additional Comments

If you want one of the best boards on the market (price be damned) then the K95 Platinum is hard to beat.

Strengths of the product

Excellent key feel, response time, great for gaming and typing. RGB customization is fantastic. Corsair's CUE software works very well and isn't obtrusive nor is it a resource hog.

Weaknesses of the product

I am not 100% sure the extra macro keys, extra RGB lighting and profile storage are worth the high price premium over the K70. Expensive: but you already knew that if you're reading this.

Additional Comments

Probably the best keyboard I have ever owned. One of the best gaming keyboards on the market if price is no object. If you don't care about the macro keys and don't care about the profile storage, get the K70 instead.
