Decent for the price, but slow

Strengths of the product

Sturdy Construction: Feels good in the hand, satisfying metal finish

Weaknesses of the product

Slow for USB 3.0 - I wouldn't run a live OS off this thing, but I'd definitely fill it up with pictures and give it to my Grandma

Additional Comments

Not sure what Je from BC is talking about. You can make this disk bootable by the normal methods just fine - got a bootable disk by using dd, then wiped it and tried with Rufus. Both worked first try, no hassle. The two star loss is for the speed, everything else seems to be fine.

Great USB

Strengths of the product

Small, low cost, speeds as advertised.

Weaknesses of the product

Minor stuff. No cap, plastic key ring zone, but really most USB keys are like this.

Additional Comments

I purchased two of these. I have used both for bootable installs for OSX, Linux and Windows. And for general data transfers where USB was easier. Works as advertised. I haven’t had any issues yet. Note: The 32GB has a faster speeds then 16GB.

Very slow and hard to make bootable

Strengths of the product

Weaknesses of the product

Copying a .iso onto this won't create a bootable USB stick. Something about the way the partition management works on this, it can be very tricky to make one of these bootable. And if you do get it to boot, it runs painfully slowly. No activity LED. Heats up.

Additional Comments

This stick is really only good for cheap, low-speed storage. Don't waste your time trying to make it into a bootable USB stick. Also, there are other, cheap USB sticks out there that are faster. Not recommended.

32GB but less than USB 2.0 speeds

Strengths of the product

Weaknesses of the product

Too big (large) No included cap nor possibility to add one Very slow write speeds (9 MB/s) on my USB 3.0 Z370 from SSD drive

Additional Comments

This key stores effectively 32 gigabytes of data, but at 9 MB/s write speed it would take 1 full hour to fill it completely. If you need to copy whatever big file, do not use this flash drive.
