Additional Comments:
Replaced the drive in an old Windows 7 tower. This drive is faster and has more capacity than the original drive. Maximum sustained speed is about 120 MB/s on a 3Gbs SATA plug. There were no errors during a full disk erase and read using a diagnostic program. There were no checksum errors when restoring about 150 GB of system images and user data files. I did have to fix the boot configuration with the Windows setup DVD (the "Repair your computer" option) and do some cleaning up with BCDEDIT.

Strengths:
Hasn't died in 3+ years
Weaknesses:
Not fast enough for certain games like World of tanks
Additional Comments:
I bought this drive back in 2014 it was initially both the boot and game drive, used as pure game drive in 2015, Switched over to just general storage in 2017 till now ...I'm surprised it still hasn't die yet ... hope she lives another 4 years

Strengths:
100% realiable. Quiet, one of the fastest HDDs available.
Weaknesses:
None
Additional Comments:
I'm glad I switched back to seagate after continous WD drive fails. It's like the folks over at WD dont' care about their quuality assurance. I still have not had a single seagate fail on me ever. Would definately recommend Seagate over WD anyday, anywhere.
