Strengths:
cheap and 140mm fan
Weaknesses:
cheap.... cant handle a 3070ti ftw3.
first evga product to disappoint me in over 10 years.
the main bulk cap is of garbage quality, the psu with no fan is still louder then my entire system just from the coil whine.
when the fan turns on you know it. fan runs full speed @ 40c.
Additional Comments:
replace it with seasonic prime gx 750. its 100% silent under full load.... does not seem like evga did any testing on this psu cause all i see on forums etc is how terrible it is.
recommend avoiding entire bq series, sorry evga but you messed up.
getting rma/trying to get full refund.
Official Reply from Memory Express:
Although the Minimum reccomended Power Supply for the Nvidia RTX 3070 Ti is 750W, your build seems to need more than this EVGA PSU could provide. Larger Power Supplies tend to last longer than those running at or near 100% output during marathon gaming sessions.

Strengths:
modular.. has 2 video card power connections
Weaknesses:
failed after 2 months
Additional Comments:
bought a couple of these power supplies both failed almost within a week between each other, using 2 video cards 150W power max draw per card + 1 ssd / amd cpu / 1x 4 gig, approx 450 - 550 watt draw total, apc surge protector to prevent power surges from damaging power supplies.
not worth getting, doing rma on both power supplies, will not be getting any more
might be good for 1 video card 1 desktop hd and few sticks of ram but probably gambling with 2 video cards
