Strengths of the product

Works, back-light has three modes, has every key except a windows key, but you don't really need that. Great for HTPC, for when you want to actually be able to type for searches etc. or have to do something outside of HTPC software. Battery lasts quite a while on a charge.

Weaknesses of the product

I think this is a windows set up issue, but the tiny touch pad sometimes reads my finger as two fingers and then it wants to scroll and not move the mouse - before I figured this out, it just seemed broken. There is most likely a setting in windows that will disable the scroll, or I could just use a small cheap touch stylus for mouse, and retain the two finger scroll for when I need it. Some programs won't respond to the transport controls, but that's not the devices fault.

Additional Comments

Handy unit - pretty much the same price as a generic remote but you get a full keyboard and touch pad as well. Touch pad is a bit finicky under my Windows default touch set up (I also have a wacom tablet - maybe windows touch adjusted itself for that which adversely affected this device), but is fixable with settings adjustment or just by using a stylus (finer point won't read as two point touch)
