Great keyboard but quality a bit low

Strengths of the product

I am a software developer who is on my keyboard 8 hours a day 5 days a week or more and I really love this keyboard! I like it so much that I've gone through 3 of them in maybe 4 or 5 years but still keep buying them because I like the keyboard layout.

Weaknesses of the product

Susceptible to food and drink, hard to clean. wears out what seems like fairly quickly but not sure if 1-2 years is OK for a keyboard that is used ALL the time. The mouse always seems to wear out first so this last time I purchased a mouse separate.

Additional Comments

Love the keyboard layout and how easy it is to type with. Will buy another one when this one dies.

Strengths of the product

Keyboard is nicely laid out with short keystrokes for quick typing.

Weaknesses of the product

The mouse. Right out of the box would shut off when not used for 1 minute or so. Had to remove batteries to bring it back to life. The scroll button is horrible. It would work if depressed heavily for up and down movement but when it was lightly pressed(normal pressure), after pausing to read the page would start to jitter up and down and then it would scroll to the top of the page without touching the mouse. Wow.

Additional Comments

For the price, not the best. I have always had good luck with Microsoft keyboards and mice. Always purchase them separately so maybe the packaged set the cheap out on the mouse. Its going back.

Good keyboard

Strengths of the product

Nice traditional comfort curve. Feels good overall with no annoying mutations except for the small F keys. Mouse is simple but effective with back and forward browser buttons and feels comfortable.

Weaknesses of the product

F keys are too small and low. Hard time hitting them without looking. (Please bring back full size F keys). First thing that will stop working with this keyboard set is the mouse wheel. I`ve had 3 of these sets already. Same thing every time with mouse wheel. Also, the mouse drains a lot of battery power compared to the Logitech mice. A windows key on the right side would be useful for one hand screen locking (Win-L).

Additional Comments

Good keyboard overall. Standard comfort curve is an acceptable and welcome mutation from the standard keyboard. Small and lowered F key size is not welcome (Not worth it just for looks). Standard Insert, Home, Page Up Down, Delete, End keys for people who use traditional cut & paste key sequences.
