Heavy thick heat sheilding
Default speed is 1066 per module in dual channel. Unless enabling Xmp.
Great solid. Heavy duty heat sheilding. Just only runs at a default of 1066 rather than 1333. Unless you enable Xmp in your bios. My mother board being a very low end board doesn't have Xmp at all. So 8 was basically stuck at lower speeds than what I paid for. For my motherboard I need plug and play ram, like the Kingston x fury

Overclocked it to 2933MHz, and it's running stable.
Failed to boot at 3000MHz.
I thought I was getting a good deal. However, I didn't realize that for $10 more, I could've bought DDR4-3200 from the same manufacturer. Now I'm feeling a bit ripped off.

Bought this kit, decent. Next thing I know I’m crashing and one of the sticks has failed. Tried contacting support but haven’t had a response. Put this in a gigabyte aorus B450M with a ryzen 2600x.
Works great for others, must have had bad luck. Just be careful.

Price. Overclocked to 3000MHz without having to change timings or boost voltage. Low profile heat spreaders.
Ram prices are still very high.
Running 4 sticks of these in an Asus ROG X399-E with a 2950X and was able to overclock to 3000MHz by just upping the frequency, no voltage or timing tweaks required. Great value.

- Low profile - Comes in different colours, though I got black (wanted white, store didn't have it) - Relatively budget-oriented
- Isn't fast, I guess
It's RAM, dude. I bought two 16gb kits to use on a Ryzen x370. Took a little bit of effort learning a more modern BIOS, but it didn't take long to get this RAM running at it's stock frequency, though it was running at just 2133mhz outta' the box.
