Strengths:
Version 1709 just rolled out, and my 3 year old tablet 2-in-1 has impoved drastically. Touchscreen UI is the best out of previous 7 or 8. (laughs)
Weaknesses:
Not really a "weakness" per say, but this thing does major updates every year or so, and it's somewhat of an inconvenience when you're on satellite internet speeds. Cortanna and other apps invade privacy (fortunately those can be turned off quite easily).
Additional Comments:
With automatic updates and ever changing improvements addressing MS community issues and requests, looks like Microsoft is finally making a OS that's becoming more mobile device friendly.

Strengths:
-"Better" hardware / software compatibility out of the box compared to Windows 8.1 Pro (really had to think hard about this one) - really stretching this one.
Weaknesses:
- Too many UIs: Desktop, "Fluent Design"/Metro, DOS/Command Prompt/Power Shell...please Microsoft make more.
- Intrusive level of data mining of "anonymous" system telemetry, which in the end boils down to info which can be cross-linked where the user has zero privacy.
- No difference between “fast startup” turned off or on when using a high-end SSD. The fact that this is turned on just to collect more ‘temp’ files on the system to turn it on faster is fine for 5400RPM HDD not an SSD.
Additional Comments:
I am not married to any one Windows operating system, all I care about is stability and reliability. Be it 7, 8.1 or 10 I could, but the fact I have to use 10 for me to continue future OS-to-program compatibility for my business purposes, this OS should only be in Beta an not released as a fully fleshed out operating system. Of course, 10 is also mandatory for any new AMD or Intel hardware, unless ones has more time to spare looking for workarounds for both the hardware & OS updates.

Strengths:
Works extremely fast with solid states. Automatic updates, never have to worry whether your computer is up to date or not.
Weaknesses:
The Start menu is still not the same as in Windows 7, but that is easily fixed. Cortana is just useless.
Additional Comments:
With a simple add-on (Classic Shell) this becomes the best Operating System to date. I don't know what the other people are grumbling about. Because of a simple lack of a start menu? Jeez.
