Bought this to run a 256GB SSD on my late 2012 iMac, since upgrading is a pain due to Apple using adhesive instead of screws making the process messy and time consuming.
Anyways so far very impressed as I was able to get fairly close to the advertised performance of 270MB/s Writes & 430MB/s Reads. My ADATA 256GB SSD advertised to Read at 540MB/s and Write 290MB/s.
Just make sure your motherboard or Mac supports UASP..
