Strengths:
Decent, affordable little unit.
Weaknesses:
Cannot transmit higher than 1080p. 3x Displayport on my GPU and 1x HDMI that's now getting dedicated to a VR headset. Intended to use on a 1440p display, would not offer any resolution higher than 1080p.
Additional Comments:
Good unit if you're not looking for anything above regular Full HD / 1080p.

Strengths:
Jus purchase this for my HP 8460p Elitebook. Was kinda worried that i wasnt gonna get audio with the video since the 8460p isnt a really new model laptop(bought refurbished). Plugged her in played a Youtube video and viola AUDIO/VIDEO. So yes you will get audio/video
Weaknesses:
Jus use it for what it is and you will be fine. And make sure nobody will trip over the HDMI cable you will have connnected to the adapter bcuz the adapter will hook right into the display port hence if someone trips over the cord your laptop is gonna go with it
