Excellent

Strengths:

I set up my Gigabyte motherboard to have these set about 35% power on the PWM connector normally, and I cannot hear them. I set the motherboard to automatically increase the speed above that once case temperatures hit the 30s, but so far that rarely happens. (CPU fans do increase as needed though.) You do need to have these connected to a PWM connector. Another review below mentioned noise if it runs without PWM; well yes, if you run it full blast then you will hear it. But all motherboards now come with PWM connectors so there is no reason to have the case fans at 100% all the time. As mentioned above mine always or almost always run at 35% and that is enough.

Weaknesses:

None. Price is good for the quality.

Additional Comments:

Excellent.

Fan experience

Strengths:

Nice packaging but not necessary. Includes adapters and rubber mounting hardware. Noctua's reputation

Weaknesses:

Noise at full speed and low speed. Must use pwm controller in addition to low noise adapter. High price tag.

Additional Comments:

Bought this as a case fan after reading several reviews based on its quietness. I personally found it loud - like a low propeller plane hum. I even connected the low noise/reduced rpm adapter and it was still audible over my other computer fans. I was satisfied once i used a pwm controller to further reduce the rpm to the desired setting. I have another Noctua 120mm fan and that is much more quiet.

Bit expensive but you got what you paid for

Additional Comments:

Three and half years later, this is still performing strongly with such a quiet and consistent service, I shouldn't cheap out on my other case fans (Corsair fan that came with the case), they all start to gave out, one particular is rattling and making a wired noise randomly which drive me nuts when I want some quiet work time.

Amazing

Strengths:

Bought two of these as intake fans for my s340 elite, gpu temperature before was around 68-71 celsius.. dropped my gpu temperature around 8-10 degrees celsius, and then when I took off the case lid it dropped it another 1-2, fluctuates of ckurse, then opened a bit of window in November n turned my room dan on for a bit it fluctuated down 15 degrees. To around 55 degrees. However overall my rtx 3070 fe overall went from 68-71 degrees playing warzone to around 61 -64 degrees

Weaknesses:

Price still a bit expensive

Additional Comments:

Did it's job, quiet, very impressed. Packaging was really nice n easy install. Would be nice if it costed $20 but their reputation for quality n performance is legit in a way they can somewhat justify $32

Quiet fans

Strengths:

Quiet. Adapters & cable extensions are included in the box.

Weaknesses:

Expensive.

Additional Comments:

Silent all the way up to the top of it's operating range and then it becomes quietly audible. Got these on the strength of Noctua's brand name and they did not disappoint.
