I own two of these, I travel a lot and use them in my hotel room for working on spreadsheets. They are excellent, color is good, clarity is what you would expect for the price. They are a great portable monitor and work very well. In my home office I use higher quality monitors that are a lot clearer than these

Cord is not the best, if you move the monitor you sometimes have to plug it in again as it sometimes cuts out

Great monitor for travellers

I have been using this for a little over two weeks. You only need one USB 3.0 port. The Y cable is apparently needed on some older laptops that cannot provide sufficient power from a single USB 3.0 port. USB cable stays in monitor port without problem. The integrated stand is excellent; I am using the monitor in portrait layout.

Never heard of AOC brand before, but so far, no problems.

The usb cable seems to disconnect it when jiggled but I assume a new cable would sort this out.

I would have given it 5/5 but the disconnect from the cable not being the greatest pulls it down to a 4 for me. For under 150 bucks though this display is awesome.

I have a dual display video card in my 10 year old computer thats been recently upgraded to USB 3.0, running Windows 8 and wanted to run a 3rd display without having to replace my card to a triple. This USB Monitor was a cost effective and easy answer for me. Pretty good image and frame rate quality, but don't expect it to be as good as your main monitor.

Viewing angle isn't very good, it has to be setup so your eyes are viewing the screen straight on. I thought the 3 foot usb cable was short, so I had to buy a active usb extension cable to run the monitor where I wanted it. It didn't work out of the box after installing the software, you may need to update the device drivers ( read the "readme.txt" file on the disc for the address required for the upgrade.) The people at AOC need to update their installation disc for a easier install.

If it wasn't for the viewing angle, short usb cable and fussy install, I'd give this product 5 stars.

wall mountable Light portable

it many need 2 usb ports 1 3.0 and 1 2.0 it wouldn't work on my laptop or my desktop tried updating the drivers off both websites was going to just switch it because i read a number of times that the usb cable is not the greatest the connection isnt always made kinda thing but i just ended up getting my money back cause i didnt want to deal with the hassle

for me and the one i had the summery is not good i still think they are a great idea and i have a little 7 inch one i picked up from thinkgeek back in the day no issues with it so the brand is one that has worked for me in the past just the drivers on this werent up to date for my evga gtx 680 FTW cards. I will try it again in a couple month to a year just to see if it works then.
