Strengths of the product

Has a great mic and great surround sound and is sound-proofed for likability. Allows you to adjust the sound from your headset. Can mute when wanted.

Weaknesses of the product

A little bit too long of a cord. Hard to find space to put them because of how big they are.

Additional Comments

Great but could be a bit better.

Decent Sound, when it worked...

Strengths of the product

Decent sound quality, and the surround sound is good.

Weaknesses of the product

Connectivity/build quality. Occassionally the device could not be recognized when plugged into my computer. Usually this was fixed by unplugging and replugging it back in. After a 2-3 months, The device suddenly lost all sound, and will not connect anymore. The problem seems to be related to the cord and/or the connections inside the controls.

Additional Comments

If I could get a refund, I would not buy this product again, as there are potentially better quality headsets for the same price. The sound is good, but a headset should not be having these issues after only a few months of light use.

Decent Headset

Strengths of the product

Comfortable for long hours of gaming. Good audio, just do not use the XEar audio, this is where you download Razer's surround sound. Good HEADSET quality build. Reduces background noise when listening to music or playing games well. Mute button and volume up and down works good.

Weaknesses of the product

Weak cord build, after about 1 months use and being gentle with it, I noticed that if I move the cord a certain way the headset shuts off. This will require you to take the time and fix this, which can be a hassle especially when gaming or voice chatting. Microphone isn't the best, if you have it on CD quality you can hear a loud ringing, if you put it on DVD quality you can hear static. NEVER use the AGC, this is rather annoying to people especially on Skype. Could have used a better cord.

Additional Comments

Overall a good headset for the price. However do not buy this headset for the microphone if you want a microphone that doesn't output static when it's active. Buy this headset if you want a decent cheap audio headset combined with Razer's 7.1 surround drivers. Will be returning this for defect as of 10/x/2014 (X = date that hasn't been picked yet.) This is for the cord failing.
