Card failed after a month of use. After a lot of work I finally managed to get the data off it then tried to format it...no luck. Waste of $40

Strengths of the product

Can still view and copy files from card.

Weaknesses of the product

Failed after transferring ~11 GB of MP3s from computer. Can't write, delete, erase, format, reformat... or anything besides read.

Additional Comments

I can't recommend Patriot SDXC cards anymore. I had another 64 GB patriot USB stick that also failed after transferring 30 GB onto it. I opened the stick and found this very same SD card soldered to the board inside with a melted portion near the contacts. I spent three weeks prior researching solutions using Linux Mint, Ubuntu, Partman, Windows XP/Vista/7 disk manager, Android, Windows Phone. None will write, delete or reformat. They indicate change, but reinserting the card proves otherwise.
