Failed after 1 year

Strengths:

Worked well when it was new.

Weaknesses:

Failed.

Additional Comments:

Paid extra for what I though was quality but failed after a little over 1 year. Well look after, constant indoor environment, not abused, so no excuses. Lost some valuable data. I recommend to avoid this model series, maybe even avoid Patriot brand.

The Cap Broke

Strengths:

Good thumb drive. I like that there's no removable parts. Quick to slide open and insert in a dive.

Weaknesses:

The little cap on the end broke and eventually fell off and got lost. I eventually replaced it with a red transparent Lego held on with some hot glue.

Solid Performance

Strengths:

Works mostly as advertised. I'm averaging between 40 - 50 MB/s write and around 150 MB/s read. Occasionally the write speed will drop to around 20 MB/s depending on the types of files I'm copying to it, but otherwise it's worked flawlessly. I've also used it to install Windows 8 without a hiccup.

Weaknesses:

Not the fastest USB 3.0 drive in terms of write speed, but still more than enough for my needs

Additional Comments:

Provides a very good performance vs price value.

Actual works as intended

Strengths:

Fast Sturdy construction

Weaknesses:

Size? I've seen smaller...

Additional Comments:

Actually transfers files at the advertised speeds. Averaged 48mb/s write and 175 mb/s read... Time will tell for reliability and durability. So far I like it :)

Speeds Not As Advertised

Strengths:

- Small and compact package

Weaknesses:

- Does not fit multiple USB devices if 2 ports are too close together - Ran a HDD benchmark on this drive using a USB 3.0 port and got a much different result: Advertised: ● Read Speed - 180MB/s ● Write Speed - 50MB/s Actual: ● Read Speed - 31MB/s ● Write Speed - 24MB/s

Additional Comments:

In terms of going faster than USB 2.0, it does it's job. USB 2.0 is limited to about 12.5MB/s read and write. If you are buying this for speed, you may as well go for it, but it is no different than any other USB 3.0 flash drive.

USB 3.0 Flash Drive that Supports installing Windows!

Strengths:

We have tested and recommended this Flash Drive for installing Windows from USB. Many other USB 3.0 Flash Drives gives drive/partition selecting errors during Windows Installation.

Additional Comments:

Pick it up if you want speedy storage and to install Windows from USB.
