Dissapointing

Strengths of the product

Looks good, matches my system...

Weaknesses of the product

Weak POS. Hopefully their RMA process is better than their product.

Additional Comments

First one failed after a about 14 months, self test worked, but it would shut down after a measly 5 minutes. Because the self test showed green, I figured it was my mobo since the sound card failed on it previously, replaced the mobo for $550. That didn't work, so I got another AX1200i so I could just plug right into the custom ordered sleeved Corsair cables, and hey, maybe I just got a bum PSU. Everything worked great, for 4 days. This one won't even pass the self test. RMA and return, sad

Blown out of this world - Greatest PSU for the $$$

Strengths of the product

Quite Solid Power delivery 80 PLUS Platinum (WHO DOESN'T WANT THIS?!?!) Fully Modular DIGITAL - CorsairLink (Although it has a way's to go) tells you your current PSU Usage/Efficiency) It's just Sexy.

Weaknesses of the product

Absolutely Nothing

Additional Comments

If you're looking for a Amazing, Efficient, Powerful Power Supply Unit make this your first choice. This baby is powering up a AMD FX-8350 at 4.8GHz, and 3 AMD Radeon 7990's and doesn't even make a sound. The Power supply is fully modular so you don't have to deal with unwanted cords making a mess in the back of the case. The fact you can monitor the Power Supply Usage/Efficiency is such a perk. I would recommend the Corsair AXi series to anyone in the market for a new PSU.

Perfect!

Strengths of the product

DIGITAL! DIGITAL! DIGITAL! DIGITAL! Extremely power efficient with an 80 PLUS Platinum Efficiency rating. Quiet!!!! Absolute minimal heat. Rock solid, uber stable voltage regulation. A sustained 1,204 watts of electricity at +12v. Corsair quality.

Weaknesses of the product

The Corsair LINK 2 software to monitor/control this PSU is a joke. It needs to be taken back to the drawing board and completely redesigned. The idea behind it is good, but their implementation is poor at best. Random crashes, data not refreshing correctly. Stick with other monitoring utilities.

Additional Comments

The Corsair AX1200i is an all digital power supply. It's probably one of the most expensive power supplies that MemX sells. It's simple: YOU PAY FOR WHAT YOU GET! This thing is alllllll quality. Powers an AMD FX-8350 and an Asus Ares II dual 7970 GHz GPU setup. Love that my system is so clean thanks to all the modular, sleeved wires Corsair provides. 5/5 because of it's power, efficiency, style and NOT because of the LINK 2 software. :P

You get what you pay for.

Strengths of the product

-Comes with all the cables you need for any configuration-Great voltage regulation-Silent operation-Great Warranty- Platinum efficiency-Great ripple reduction

Weaknesses of the product

-Corsair link software can be improved and that's all i can think of.

Additional Comments

Corsair is very competitive in the computer market and is usually first to introduce new innovative things. The prices are steep, but you get what you pay for and corsair backs that up with great warranty.

Strengths of the product

Comes with a plenty of cables, as well as zip ties for a cleaner install. Instruction Manual thorough and easy to understand.

Weaknesses of the product

None

Additional Comments

Building my first computer since my last one I made 15 years ago, I was feeling a bit nervous, never having built a higher end Gaming computer, but this PSU makes it easy. Everything is clearly labelled and being modular makes it very easy to attach only the cables you need making for a very tidy install.

Absolutely the best PSU for enthusiasts

Strengths of the product

- Great Packaging - Best sleeved wiring that I have ever seen from a PSU - Absolute attention to detail in craftsmanship - Great looks and feels of quality - Self test button to test of PSU is working straight out of box - Very quiet operation - Total control through corsair link - 80 plus PLATINUM!

Weaknesses of the product

- only weakness I could think of is the software for corsair link, it needs a few updates and this will be the perfect PSU series that money can buy.

Additional Comments

Highly recommend this PSU, it may seem to be a bit pricey but after seeing the AX1200i, it's was worth every dollar.
