Graphic Arts - excellent choice!

Strengths of the product

Color control is very good on this monitor as I have found that CRT's were a lot more predictable than LCD's for color shift. There is still a slight tint (blue or red depending on how well you calibrate it) from side to side, but it is very slight and only affects highlight. Blacks are rich as you need. Nice features as well with grids, etc.. and the rotation can be handy. I run 2 of these side by side for desktop/graphic work. Haven't had an issue with it in over a year.

Weaknesses of the product

none so far

Additional Comments

Recommend for Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign/Quark computers. Excellent for gaming, but a bit overpriced for that purpose.

Strengths of the product

great design and comes with all cable you will need sRBG mode

Weaknesses of the product

Backlight bleeding around all 4 corners. white back ground has blue hue unless you turn the brightness to 100%

Additional Comments

This is a e-ips panel, which it's a 6bit+FRC, I'm currently using the LG L245WP which has a 8bit P-MVA panel, so to go with this e-ips panel was a downgrade for me, so I decided to return it and go with the Asus PA246Q with P-IPS instead. However for users that are going from a TN panel, this is definately a good buy, it will allow 178/178 viewing angle and has fast response time, during my 3 days testing I found no ghosting while playing games on it.
