Basically, if you're able to get it on special, say 25$: Build quality less than the 70$ price but the features you get over a 25$ mouse makes it justified.

'Meh'

Strengths of the product

Nice macro (Not as good as the one designed for the 6980, but still good) decent buttons, nice DPI switch(SLider) and the tilt wheel on ANY gaming mouse is great.

Weaknesses of the product

The 2 buttons on the left side of mouse (The thumb buttons) are horrible. The 6980 had it PERFECT, this one, not so much, the tactile feedback is non-existent, and its extremely difficult to determine which button is being pressed(Also the button further back often gets 'mashed' when you attempt to click the front one, which overrides the front and results in only the back one being pressed)

Additional Comments

After only an hour of using it(45 min gaming, 15 just surfing web) I really, REALLY regret buying this and not just a new (VERY cheap) 6980. They took a lot of steps backwards when designing this one, and about the only improvements over previous ghost models is the sliding DPI button(nice idea) and the higher dpi(6000 max instead of 3000) Other than that, I'd strongly suggest to instead find a old 6980 ghost in the bargain bin and buy that instead.

And the award for the worst mouse ever made goes to.....

Strengths of the product

Looks kinda cool

Weaknesses of the product

Everything else Connectivity is poor Drops connection constantly Range is anywhere from 8" - 16" depending on conditions Buttons are mushy and undependable

Additional Comments

One of the worst products I have ever used and an absolutely appalling effort from a name like Gigabyte. My purchase of this junk from them may well cost them a lot more than I paid as I will not be buying another Gigabyte product for, at least, a very long time. I hope Gigabyte honestly feels bad about what they have done here and I myself feel bad for MemEx for being stuck with 30 of these pieces of junk. If I could give this product a ZERO I would

The software that comes with it isn't windows 10 compatible.... time to go back and return it.

Strengths of the product

It is a very accurate mouse on high dpi.

Weaknesses of the product

The software is more complicated than it should be and kind of sucks. My mouse broke after only 1.5 years while sitting on my desk with only light gaming. It wasn't a physical break, the software stopped recognizing it on my desktop or laptop. Gigabyte's tech support is next to impossible to reach and not helpful at all despite me being very good with computers.

Additional Comments

Save up the extra money to buy Razer brand, I wish I had.

Strengths of the product

Left and right click felt nice on mine, it's nice to have the ability to change the weights and they included replacement pads.

Weaknesses of the product

The design of the mouse doesn't work for me. I use pointer on my left click and middle on my right click, this does not work at all with this mouse. It leaves you with the choice of awkwardly curling your pinkie into the mouse or splaying it outwards and dragging it around the surface - awful. My scroll wheel also failed within approximately the first 20 hours of use.

Additional Comments

Gigabyte should stick to motherboards and gfx cards, this is a waste of money.

Ehh not so bad...

Strengths of the product

Its a pretty decent looking mouse, good feel and handles well.. I dont have to many problems with it.

Weaknesses of the product

The mouse wheel is like crappy, compared to even 10$ mice. Its just doesn't feel as nice and as smooth and sometimes difficult to roll.

Strengths of the product

after year of use.. the left clickr is getting difficult to move. Lag when using it on the lap top Asus nv53sv was fairly stiff. Lag on the Asus Ramage III tower was much better. so it is very chip set dependant. purchased two of these .. first one failed faster only 3 months in. when its working very nice none tiring mouse on hand to use. Doesn't leave thumb sore from use or wrist. I have very large hands.

Strengths of the product

The on-the-fly DPI change is nice when switching between tasks, such as browsing, work, or games. The in-mouse memory allows you to save the settings, which means you can keep it the same between multiple machines - great for those who switch between laptops / desktops / and work. Even on the higher DPI settings, there is no sacrifice in accuracy and no jitters.

Weaknesses of the product

If anything, the only weakness would be the lack of more side buttons. There are only two side buttons on the left side, a profile changer on the right side, and the top toggle switch for the DPI settings.

Additional Comments

An excellent mouse. I use this mouse in conjunction with Autocad Civil 3D and it works like a dream. I would recommend it for those looking for a higher-end mouse at a cheaper price. The material and mouse size is very comfortable on the hands.

Poor

Strengths of the product

Few. The left buttons are fine and the left main button is lovely, nice and positive. Very fast tracking, the highest setting is almost too fast.

Weaknesses of the product

The right main button is dreadful, way too sensitive, hard to tell when it;s been clicked, too long (almost half the length of the mouse) and there's nowhere to rest your finger without pressing on it. The extra button on the right side cannot be programmed (it just selects a different macro set). The manual is awful, full of spelling mistakes and hard to understand poor English.

Additional Comments

Don't waste your money.
