Poorly Made

Strengths:

Cost is low

Weaknesses:

Poor quality. If you use your phone to watch things while it's plugged in, the cable will go to poop from the movement and weaken pretty quickly over time.

Additional Comments:

I seem to recall also the pins stopped working from repeated plugging in. Basically Memory Express branded cables are poorly built and cheaply made.

All these negative reviews from people that don't know the difference between a standard USB cable and and OTG cable. Alot of phones and tablets require OTG USB cables to work properly. Don't blame the cable for not knowing the difference.

It's long and I can tie someone up with it because I can't use it on my computer :-)

Weaknesses:

I too purchased one of these and it doesn't work properly. I left it too late and now I can't return it.

I went to Memory Express to buy two of these cables and neither of them work! They are a lot cheaper than FutureShop's Monster Cable BS, but what does it matter if they don't even work properly...

Cable not manufactured to spec?

Strengths:

N/A

Weaknesses:

Does not work properly with Samsung Galaxy S2. Can connect to computer to transfer data, but does not charge the battery, either from the computer's usb port or from the Samsung AC 120V to USB mini charger. Also the rubber surrounding the micro usb connector is way to big, I had to trim it down just to get it to plug into the phone, so no chance of returning it.

Additional Comments:

Wouldn't recommend it for Samsung devices.

Doesn't work with Blackberry Playbook...

Strengths:

Title says it all - and I bought two of them so not a defective cable. Would suspect the cable on other devices since the specification for A-B connectors is pretty specific.
