Connectors are next to impossible to stay seated in the receptacles without popping out.
The engineering design of the optical connector is a mess to begin with. Good luck in determining which end of the connector is the top versus the bottom. The connector is so small you can barely see the flat side. This particular cable has plastic inserts surrounding the cable core, which are next to useless for staying continually connected, without falling out of the female receptable on your device. The connector design is simply too short. If you touch the cable when it is connected, due to the stiffness of fibre, it can just pop out. Instead of this cheap plastic cable, put up some extra bucks and purchase a quality one with metal jackets surrounding the fibre core. That will spare you from unnecessary use of pain killer medication.
