So much for so little!

Strengths:

1.) Very good price for what you get provided these fans last. 2.) The fan works very well despite your first impressions on looks alone. Very strong air flow at full setting and no motor whining. You can hear the air rush at full speed, but at lower speeds everything is quiet. 3.) The fan speed is variable and the air flow is controlled when plugged into a fan header on the motherboard. Before purchase I was under the impression that it only had one setting at 2000 rpm. 4.) Molex power adapter cords are included. Especially useful when you're out of fan headers on the motherboard. The adapter cords can be daisy chained. The fan runs at a constant full speed when connected via Molex. 5.) The transparent fan blades look just fine (compared to the shiny black frame, that is). 6.) LEDs. The light from these LEDs is very slight and the lighting might be far too little for the liking of some, but it's also quite nice in it's own way.

Weaknesses:

1.) The looks. The black plastic fan frame looks cheap and shiny and yet nothing cracked or broke off during the installation. The fan isn't particularly stylish. 2.) The screws tap straight into holes in the plastic frame. There's no soft flexible material for the screws to tap into and there isn't any vibration padding. The screws are not black. Still works though. 3.) The power cord could be just a little too short in some instances, depending on the fan header location. The power cord is not black, but then it's also not any bright colour either. 4.) When holding the fan running at full speed, you can feel a slight imbalance/vibration and even though this doesn't immediately translate into any kind of noise, even once installed, this will hopefully not develop into a rattle down the road or cause the life of the fan to be shortened.

Additional Comments:

I got 4 of these fans yesterday for CAD 7.35 each (including tax) and they're working really well! It's early days yet, but so far I have no regrets at all! These 4 fans are installed as secondary fans (2 replacing old fans and 2 as new fans in new positions in the case), even so, they've brought my CPU temperature down by a whole 5 to 6 degrees C at the same max. CPU workload/Watts compared to what temperatures were before. Before installing the new fans, I first test ran them outside the case using the Molex connectors for power. On Molex power the fans run at full speed and generate a lot of air flow. Some reviews have said these fans are very noisy at full speed. Those reviews were a while ago and perhaps these fans have been changed/improved since then, I don't know. Except for the high air flow at full speed, which is to be expected to be very audible, the fans are quiet. If these fans last, I'll be happy. Maybe that's too much to hope for. Time will tell.

Not as advertised

Strengths:

Additional Comments:

Better for small cases and for people that don't like case lighting.

Not Bad

Strengths:

Lots of airflow, looks nice.

Weaknesses:

Not very quiet.

Additional Comments:

If you want to cool your case for very cheap, it's a strong option. I only ever got to try this fan because I showed up to the store looking for a product that was in stock on the website, but wasn't actually there so I got this. The manager I dealt with was great, however the customer service desk was atrocious when I ended up having the wrong colour fan and needing a replacement...

Not Too Shabby

Strengths:

Its a well made fan, it keeps keeps my PC to a chilled tempature, and the blue LEDs made it looks very nice from the side window

Weaknesses:

Is it pretty loud, i wish i got a different fan but was one of the better ones that they had in stock.

Additional Comments:

I might change it out when i get my Computer upgraded, but it will do for now. i can barley hear it with my headset on so that isnt a big deal. I do wonder why the red and green LEDs got a higher review, i wonder...

Seized after a year

Strengths:

Cheap, good airflow

Weaknesses:

Moderate noise. I bought 2 of these and both seized up solid within 1 year.

Additional Comments:

Fans failed within 1 year of install. Pay an extra $5 for a better fan.

Great Airflow, Great Looks, but Loud

Strengths:

-Provides lots of airflow, helped cool my computer completely. -Looks really awesome in your case -Comes with Molex cords if you run out of fan plug-ins on your MoBo

Weaknesses:

-Loud, the fan is louder than all the fans in my case, and even with headphones on i cant still hear it. -comes with ugly silver screws, but your case should provide extra screws for the fans.

Additional Comments:

The fan looks great and provides the airflow you want to help cool your computer, but it is just plain loud. I can hear these through my headphones and that's never a great sign. I'd recommend to get a fan controller.

BEST 120s BOUGHT

Strengths:

3pin: Quiet, decent air 7v molex: A pinch louder, significantly more air(recommended full speed: lawn mower, tornado

Weaknesses:

doesnt install itself

Additional Comments:

Decent fans if you are not using them at full speed, something like 7v is best or even the 3 pin. Whisper quiet to ME.

Loud - pass on these ones

Strengths:

Have lighting

Weaknesses:

I bought 3, and all have a slight rattle to them after 2-3 months of use, and are very loud at full speed. I ended up buying a fan controller to dial them way way down.
