Strengths:
This thermal paste dropped my GPU (6770M) load test temperatures from 89*C to around 81-82 with the fan speed running slower with AS5. running the same test with the GPU running at 855 mhz core 950 mem (stock is 725 core 800 mem) once the fan kicked into high gear GPU temps hovered around 85 with the CPU hovering around 83.
overall I am impressed
Weaknesses:
some people say there is better thermal paste out there but there are so many variables involved (what CPU/ GPU was used, how the thermal paste was applied. I just say just go with what you like best).
It tastes terrible on toast (seriously don't eat this stuff i meant this con as a joke)
Additional Comments:
If you are gaming on a laptop and your temperatures approach levels where you can boil water on your CPU and GPU and cleaning the vents doesn't do anything. I would say tear your laptop down and give this stuff a try
My system HP DV6195 (Intel core I7 2630QM (2 GHZ to 2.9 GHZ)),( AMD/ATI HD6770M) now running nearly 10*C cooler thanks to AS5

Strengths:
-low cost
-better than stock
-better than stock
Weaknesses:
-there's better compounds out there
Additional Comments:
It's a decent compound. I've used it for a year now and my temps are pretty good. However, it's no longer a "good" TIM, the Arctic Cooling MX3 and MX4 TIMs are better, among others.
For $10 it's a nice upgrade over stock compounds, but you should just spend the extra $5 and get MX3 or MX4.

Strengths:
Made my PC super quiet
Weaknesses:
None
Additional Comments:
I bought this primarily for repairing Xbox360's, but decided to replace the cheap paste I bought elsewhere on my Pentium D. The cheap paste made my PC sound like a fighter jet taking off when it was under load. After putting the AS5 on, it's now super quiet. Will definitely use this on my upcoming first build.

Strengths:
- Lowered CPU load temp by 5 degrees
- Easy application
- Silver oxide compound for great thermal conductivity
- 3.5g lasts years

Weaknesses:
- When you run out, you won't be able to settle for anything else
Additional Comments:
Arctic Silver is probably the best and most reliable thermal compound around. I've been using it with all my builds since 2001, and rely on nothing else. This stuff is easy to apply, has a good consistency, and has typically lowers my running temps by about 5 degrees on average. A single tube is enough for between 10 and 15 mounts depending on the size of proc / HS and is rock solid reliable.
