This is a great laptop. The combination of the i7 and 4070 keeps thermals under control. It is a big beast, so you will experience normal laptop cooling. I don't find the fans particularly loud or annoying. The computer has a beautiful display that is buttery smooth. I love the 17 inch display. I find the keyboard is a big improvement over older MSI laptops.

Unfortunately my 2017 MSI leopard has more UI than this laptop. It should have an SD card reader given how big and powerful it is. There is only one USB C drive, meaning that I can't have an external drive and an SD card reader attached at once. My 2017 leopard could do this... The battery is the weak spot to this machine however, it's not disappointing. I can get a couple of hours of battery use out of it. I'm always close to an outlet. This was not something I was worried about however, it's worth noting.

Great gaming machine. I love the thermals, screen size and resolution (1440p). Unfortunately I am required to use my apple dongles when I want to work on this machine. The laptop is heavy, but it's bulk has a premium feel. As a regular hiker, I don't notice it.

This laptop was built to perform. It takes less than 20 seconds to turn on from cold start. It handles all my games great. Its easy to use and I love the RGB.
