Strengths:
Overall I am very pleased with this AMD CPU.
It is not top of the line. AMD respects their customers enough to commit to use the same platform (AM5) for several years. So I bought this CPU with the intention to replace it with a new CPU that comes out in a few years.
Although the computer speed is not the result of just the CPU, my performance is better that double what I had with the prior computer. I am looking forward to upgrading in a few years with whatever AM5 CPU AMD offers at that time.
Weaknesses:
When the CPU gets put under a heavy workload the CPU does not throttle performance until the CPU hits 90 degrees. This is apparently safe, as AMD says they designed and tested the CPU to be able to run constantly at that temp. That is not a weakness, but you need a good CPU cooler to avoid throttling, as with any high class CPU.
Additional Comments:
Excellent, especially for the sale price ME had in 2023.
