Mr.

Strengths:

- Great shape - Great feel - Magnetic wrist rest is a really nice addition to the K70 line.

Weaknesses:

- iCUE software is the most bloated, slow, useless software I've ever seen. 5.73GB just to use your keyboard. - Key switch options are extremely limited. - Noisy, keyboard has a definitive ring/tone to each keypress beyond the keypress itself. - USB passthrough no longer a feature of K70 keyboards.

Additional Comments:

As a person who loved the first K70 keyboard for the past 7 years. When it died, I didn't hesitate to try the new K70, despite the price being 5 times higher than the original in only a 7 year span. I found out that this keyboard is a shameful stain on Corsair and the K70 line. The need to run terrible, slow, unresponsive software just to use it is ridiculous. The fact that RGB is forced into everything just to drive the price up is insane. One switch choice loses all the customization that the original had (with 6 different switch options). The loss of a USB passthrough means that I now need a USB extension for my mouse just because of where my computer has to sit in my gaming space. All in all, really disappointed with the direction Corsair products have taken in the past few years.
