Strengths:
I wanted a cheap "gaming" computer for reasons.
i went to memory express website -> cpu sort by lowest price, i got this cpu.
Same with the motherboard -> cheapest (at the time) AM4 motherboard (msi b550m matx)
cheapest ddr 4 16gb ram set.
Paired with a 6650xt and its a great 1080p gamer, mid-high settings im playing games like Helldivers 2, starfield, and others no problems. Is it my 5700x 32GB ram rx6800? not even close, but for the price its impressive. Compared to my other 5600g build (i have swapped cpus around for troubleshooting reasons) you dont notice a difference for the price difference.
Weaknesses:
pcie 3 not 4 - probably not going to notice in my application
lower L3 cache compared to 5600x - again not a huge deal for what i wanted
cooler is not super i saw fairly high temps when gaming. it will do but for <$30 you can get aftermarket coolers that do great (deepcool ag400 or thermalright assassin120)
Additional Comments:
Fantasic budget cpu that is relatively good,

Strengths:
6 core / 12 threads; stock cooler included and more than adequate for non oc.
Weaknesses:
Not quite as fast as the 5600(x), but in real world gaming won't matter except for maybe an odd outlying title!
Additional Comments:
Got this for my daughter's rebuild - coming from an old FX6300! Awesome processor. Got it on sale, it absolutely cannot be beaten at that price point!
