Strengths:
- 1000 curvature
- small foot print
- built in speakers
- good peak HDR brightness
- little ghosting for VA panel (2ms GTG and 1ms MPRT)
- included remote
- high contrast
- super easy to assemble
Weaknesses:
- external power adaptor
Additional Comments:
This monitor is better than I expected to be. I was skeptical about buying it because it has VA panel and VA panels are prone to ghosting.
However, VA technology has improved a lot over the years because this monitor is leaps and bounds better than other VA panels that I owned in the past. I am also surprised how nice HDR looks on this monitor.
There is a little button on right side of the monitor, which is to switch to different HDR modes. Colors are nice, blacks are perfectly black.
Overall I am pleasantly surprised about this monitor. There was a firmware update available on BENQ website.
If you are in the market for a ultrawide monitor, you should give BENQ consideration.
