Seems I Got a Defective One

Strengths:

It’s fast … when it works.

Weaknesses:

Unfortunately, the drive suddenly goes to 100% Active in Task Manager, with 0 MB/s transfer rate, followed by system freeze, and then it’s a crap shoot on wether it will recover and go back to normal for a couple minutes, or if the system will Blue Screen. Anyway, I went through days of removing other drives thinking “it can’t be the new drive … it’s brand new.” Finally, on the 4th day, I decided to swap it back out with the old one it was replacing, and the problem went away.

Additional Comments:

4 days wasted. Back to Memory Express it goes for an exchange.

Big Fast & Cheap

Strengths:

2tb will hold your O/S and a huge game library. This may not be the "Fastest" m.2 SSD in the world, but it's spitting distance from the top. And, it is cheaper and cooler running than the top proformers from Samsung and Kingston.

Weaknesses:

This is not the hottest Pcie 4.0 drive, but it does not come with a heat sink. I'm getting one though, because my drive often hits mid 60's during sustained work.

Additional Comments:

I love that i"m no longer managing space on multiple drives, and this is the fastest drive I've ever owned.
