Strengths:
Insane speed
Easily overclocked to 4.8 even for me, and with stable temps using MAG Coreliquid 360R
Not too much more than an I5-12600K
Much cheaper that the i9
Weaknesses:
I am the only weak link in this equation.
Additional Comments:
I purchased this cpu for use in my first complete build as my previous computer was an out-of-date Gateway prebuild that had an i7-860. My GPU is still mega old (Radeon HD 8990). On my gateway setup, I struggled to play most games. Couldn't even played ARMA or Squad online even with settings dropped to low. (Under 15 FPS)
I wasn't able to wait/afford DDR5 so I purchased this CPU to use with an MSI PG Z690 Edge WIFI /w 32GB of CL18 3600mz ram. I'm now able to play Arma at ultra settings (1080 only monitor) with max viewing distance, and I'm hitting 90+ FPS even for a POS gpu. Running a WD_Black 500GB for OS and WD_Black 1TB for games, my computer boots in seconds. My load time in games is literally non-existent now. I'm just a newbro when it comes to computer parts, but this CPU has been well beyond night and day from my old one.

Strengths:
Beats the AMD 5900X in productivity. 5900X is priced much higher. For gaming, expect very similar performance to the 12900k.
Weaknesses:
DDR5 memory is sold out everywhere as of right now so you may want to opt for a DDR4 mobo. DDR4 is similar if not better than DDR5 when is comes to gaming. You may see performance loss when it comes to productivity, however.
Additional Comments:
Very good cpu
